Your responsibilities

As a Director Business Development (all genders) at Ray Sono, you will play a central role in the development of the company. You will work closely with the Management Board to drive the strategic direction of the company.  

  • Your focus will be on establishing, developing and closing new and sustainable business relationships with relevant leads.
  • You will work with your team to develop new creative strategies and processes to make our product portfolio even more successful, including up- and cross-selling in close cooperation with our account team.
  • Together with the management, you identify new interesting customers. You see yourself as a consultant and converter of new customer contacts at C-level.
  • Together with your team, you identify the development potential and growth opportunities for Ray Sono and take responsibility for the resulting projects for strategy development.
  • You know and follow current trends, carry out market and competition analyses and evaluate these in terms of business relevance.
  • You empower your team to give their best, coach where necessary and build the bridge between your crew leads and operations.

We expect you to

Bring in what makes you special. This should include:

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in sales, account management, project management in the digital consulting and agency environment or in a mid-sized service company.
  • You have extensive experience in acquiring new key accounts in the corporate segment and you are experienced in selling digital projects and products as well as digital consulting.
  • Communication with top decision-makers is exactly where you can make the most impact and successfully apply your experience. 
  • Based on your experience from the last few years, you have been able to build up a resilient network in one or more of the following sectors (Energy, Pharma, Industry, Logistics).
  • You use your open personality, convincing presentation skills and moderation experience efficiently to convince prospects of Ray Sono and our portfolio.
  • You have outstanding organizational and coordination skills and your approach is always well thought-out and structured.
  • Last but not least, you speak German at C2 level and English at C1 or higher.
