Both digital specialists come from Ray Sono’s own ranks (the company has over 250 employees) and are responsible for two of the company’s increasingly central portfolio priorities: digital product & service development, and the management of complex digital ecosystems.

This is a consistent step for Ray Sono, due to the growing complexity and requirements of its tasks as a pioneer and companion for the digitisation of well-known customers like Deutsche Bahn, MAN, Miles & More, and Voith. “Companies need new digital fields. Often, however, they have problems attracting potential or implementing approaches and ideas in day-to-day affairs that would digitally advance their business and secure its operations,” says Ray Sono CEO Thomas Helbing, describing many companies’ dilemma.

Ray Sono guides its customers holistically through diverse challenges.

We work together with our customers to outfit them with digitisation strategies – starting with innovative ideas, developing solutions to problems, implementing initial theses and proof, all the way to operational management. We also help companies develop differentiated operations capabilities themselves.

Sebastian Krüger has been responsible for Ray Sono’s Product & Service Design Lab in Berlin since 2017. The 37-year-old business strategist with corporate experience sets new impulses for new and existing customers and develops digital services and products in mixed teams – at all Ray Sono locations. “We never lose sight of the implementation of digital solutions and think about this from the outset – which I view as a fundamental building block for driving and successfully implementing innovation in companies,” stresses Krüger. Before joining Ray Sono, the digital expert was Vice President FutureLAB & TV 3.0 at ProSiebenSat.1.

Ilona Kühn has been an integral part of the Munich headquarters for 19 years. Together with her team, she successfully operates the digital ecosystems of leading companies such as Austrian Airlines, McDonald’s and Miles & More, in close collaboration with Ray Sono’s customers. “We ensure complete international operations – planning, controlling, global scaling, maintaining, measuring, optimising – and continuously developing content and customer experience to ensure a holistic brand and customer experience,” explains Kühn. In addition, she supports other account teams operationally with content creation and distribution, including BSH Hausgeräte and Linde. As Managing Partner, the 43-year-old has built up this business focus in recent years, pushed ahead decisively, and shaped it in a forward-looking manner.

We are excited about the expansion of our Executive Committee. Ilona and Sebastian exemplify Ray Sono’s THINK.DO.LOVE mindset. They stand for our conviction that intelligent and profound thinking (THINK.), the consequent move to implementation (DO.) plus passion in the executive committee (LOVE.) make all the difference and ideally complement the management.
