A group of 22 digital enthusiasts from AUDI AG, Voith Group, TRUMPF, ZEISS Group, DAIN Studios, byte - Bayerische Agentur für Digitales, DACHSER, Pixelschickeria, everii Group and Ray Sono inhouse experts headed to Austin to participate in exciting panels, keynotes and discussions.
As an innovative digital company, we want to be where the big leaps happen, where your digital horizon is broadened. Which technologies will become more important in the future? Which tools will be necessary to tackle the big ecological and social challenges in the years and decades to come? The prevailing approach to the solution and a hot topic at SXSW 2023 is AI. For us as a digital company that has dealt intensively with artificial intelligence, the development of AI language models is one of the most important future topics. Therefore, many sessions focus on the definition of creativity and the question what impact generative AI will have on our digital day-to-day business – valuable insights and new impulses that we will integrate into our daily work.

“This trade show is a wake-up call. It is not so much about where and how we work but about WHAT our work is about. It all revolves around education and upskilling. We shouldn’t ban AI. Instead, we should educate people how this technology can be a useful tool for the common good,” Member of the Board of Directors Ilona Kühn sums up her personal learning.
This is the first big trip with Ray Sono for our new COO | CFO Alejandro Gonzalez and a great opportunity to get to know his new colleagues better: “We are all staying together in a house. It’s like an innovation bootcamp, where in the mornings everybody meets in the kitchen for coffee and later at night gets together for a beer to discuss future challenges, new ideas and the digital world.”
The future is whatever is conceivable. It can be anticipated with the help of prognoses, but nobody can predict it. Only those who face the present challenges and think about the world of tomorrow will be able to help shape the future. Ray Sono wants to be a part of it. We want to make an impact and leave our own unique footprint. Talking about “footprint”: We are easily exceeding the mandatory 10,000 steps a day!
