The hackathon, during which more than 1,500 bold and innovative ideas were created, was only the start. A holistic #WirVsVirus programme was subsequently set up to ensure that selected solutions could be quickly tested and implemented in a user-centred manner. On 11 May, the #WirVsVirus Solution Builder became the final component of the #WirVsVirus implementation programme. And we as a digital expert are participating! Ray Sono and Google Germany are the two venture partners of the first implementation wave of the #WirVsVirus Solution Builder.
In weekly sprints, the #WirVsVirus projects are now being developed from prototype to finished product within just 8 weeks, in order to be available to as many citizens and institutions as possible. As a venture partner, we free up Rays from their regular work and support the #WirVsVirus teams over the next two months to develop their ideas – with support ranging from programming to UX/UI design all the way to developing business models.
It was rapidly clear to us that we must commit ourselves to dealing with the Corona crisis. And especially in the areas we know best and where we see one of the biggest levers in the current situation: identifying, implementing, and transferring digital potential into operating solutions.
As a digital enabler, we are thus pleased to be part of the #WirVsVirus Solution Builder and to support project teams in implementing the highly innovative ideas and solutions from the #WirVsVirus hackathon by contributing our digital expertise.
The initiative also fits perfectly with our Ray Sono approach “THINK. DO. LOVE.” – being a partner who not only thoroughly considers digital solutions, but also implements them and supports them over the long term (THINK. & DO.), coupled with our deep passion for digitisation and relevant results (LOVE.).
All information on the launch of the #WirVsVirus Solution Builder and the projects are available in the press release from 15 May 2020.
In coming weeks, we will keep you apprised on our progress with turning ideas and prototypes into digital products & services.
